Play Tree Trunks are a sustainably conscious choice for urban and rural play spaces. They are made from sustainable British hardwood and are preserved with natural oil. That’s all! We remove the bark and carefully sand smooth with hand tools; this gives a splinter and snag-free play surface and exposes the beauty of the wood. Removing the bark reduces rot, mitigates insect damage and protects against rough bark drying and falling off. It also exposes where it may be necessary to pin the ends to reduce splitting. Each Play Tree Trunk is as nature intended and unique; therefore, do get in touch for a quote. Generally, they are supplied between 2m to 8m in length and at a variety of diameters. These play features are large and heavy. Your quote will include information regarding delivery and offloading.
