Den Y-Frame

Our hardwood Den Building Frame is simple and easy to install and will provide endless play opportunity and will enable amazing den building creations.

Fantastic den building frame with endless possibilities, den building sticks and planks can also be purchased to enhance natural play. This robust den y-frame is an excellent product giving KS1 and KS2 children the opportunity to play outside in an open ended, adventurous way. Working together to create dens, ships, castles, houses, trains….. Combine with our benches, log seats, den building sticks, planks or nets/blankets and children can create something new every day.

The simple horizontal Y shaped structure allows children to lean up poles and planks on the sides to create walls. They can then build a roof structure from timber components, camo nets and tarpaulins.

Built from sustainably sourced coppiced chestnut these y-frames are lovely and tactile and very robust. The frame is supplied with all necessary fixings and is ready to bolt together.

Full instructions are provided and construction of this frame can easily be done in a day with a few keen volunteers.

You will need to dig three 60cm deep holes and have the means to concrete the posts in the ground.
